JAWATAN:

Marketing Manager
As a member of the Marketing Department, the post holder will support the Director of Admissions & Marketing in implementing the Department’s strategies, initiatives and activities. Broadly, responsibilities as part of this role includes:
Promoting ECiM’s brand as top-of-mind options for potential parents and students in and from the relevant target markets;
Working closely with the Director of Admissions and Marketing on the development of marketing, school recruitment and conversion materials including web content, prospectus, and audience specific materials;
Developing targeted and relevant content and material to promote the school and enhance enrolment in the various target markets across ASEAN;
Liaising with external marketing agencies and consultants to deliver affiliate and referral marketing strategies, and most importantly, results;
Gathering market intelligence and working with the Director of Admissions and Marketing to analyse results and develop priority student recruitment areas in line with the College’s marketing plans.
Coordinating  local and international marketing events;
Involvement in all aspects of student admissions activities;
Producing timeline and comprehensive reports, budgets and relevant KPIs;
Producing timely and comprehensive reports of each student recruitment initiative that is launched in Malaysia;
Actively measuring how each initiative is working and continually optimize strategy and execution; and
Establishing good relationships with the agents, partners, media, and parents.
To successfully fill this role, you will have the right attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
At least 5 years of work experience in relevant marketing field(s);
Prior experience in the marketing and/or education sector is a plus;
A self-starter with a sense of urgency with the ability to work pro-actively;
A high standard of spoken and written English; copy-writing and editing are essential for the role;
Commercially-minded with an excellent understanding of performance and digital marketing;
Enthusiastic, confident and sociable; excellent communication and people skills;
Must be a doer and see ideas through from inception to reality; ability to organize, multi-task, project manage and deliver results under pressure;
A desire to experiment (creatively and cost effectively!) and the ability to make quick adjustments to changing conditions;
Extremely organized, detail-oriented and motivated to follow-up on any and every enquiry with a view to achieving results;
Strong network / relationships with key media players / agencies / KOLs.

Education Consultant/Specialist
As a member of the Marketing and Admissions Department, the post holder will support the team in implementing the Department’s strategies, initiatives and activities and achieving student recruitment goals. Broadly, responsibilities as part of this role include:
Promoting ECiM’s brand as top-of-mind options for potential parents, students and corporate partners in and from the relevant target markets across South East Asia;
Organization, implementation and representation of the College at local and international marketing events;
Planning and executing recruitment strategies to deliver enrollment targets for the College and its associated programs;
Liaising with external marketing agencies and consultants to deliver results through the derivation and implementation and execution of direct and/or affiliate and referral marketing strategies;
Involvement in all aspects of student admissions activities and events;
Providing information and consultation services to prospective students, parents and corporate partners with a view to enhancing interest in enrollment; and
Establishing good relationships with the agents, partners, media, and parents.
To successfully fill this role, you will have the right attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

At least 2 years of work experience in relevant sales and/or marketing field(s);
Prior experience in the marketing and/or education sector is a plus;
A self-starter with a sense of urgency with the ability to work pro-actively;
A high standard of spoken and written English;

Must be a doer with the ability to deliver results under pressure;

A desire to travel across Malaysia and ASEAN to meet prospective parents, students and partners

A Level Teacher
We are currently recruiting Malaysian / Malaysian-resident A level Teachers (to start in January 2020) for the following subjects:

Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Business Studies
Accounting
Computer Science
Economics
Psychology
Law

Candidates must hold a Degree in relevant subject area and a professional teaching qualification.
Candidates must also have a minimum of 3 years experience teaching in an international school and 3 to 5 years experience teaching A levels.

Mandarin Teacher
Specific Tasks:
To plan, deliver and reflect upon lessons in accordance with Departmental and College policy
To assist with the production of Schemes of Work (SOW), Assessment Objectives (AO) and other relevant documents as required by the Head of Department
To set appropriate homework (prep) and classroom assessments and exercises according to the Departmental and College timetable and guidelines
To mark and provide constructive feedback to pupils on assessment exercises, following Departmental and College policy
To ensure that the College Learning and Teaching Values are reflected in planning and practice
To engage fully in the College CPD and lesson observation programme
To set realistic and ambitious targets for pupils taking into account prior performance and EAL abilities
To promote literacy at all times inside and outside the classroom
To promote and maintain a positive learning environment at all times, including maintenance of good behaviour and positive relationships
To promote good behaviour and social responsibility in the wider College environment
To maintain communication with the EAL and SEN departments to ensure full knowledge of individual student needs and to report concerns as appropriate
To ensure that in the event of the teacher’s absence appropriate work is set, with clear instructions to pupils and cover staff, keeping the Head of Department informed
To promote enthusiasm for the subject and by example inspire pupils with a love of learning
To maintain regular contact with parents regarding pupil progress, ensuring that the Head of Department and other relevant staff are kept informed
To act as a House Tutor as required, providing outstanding pastoral care for pupils, including careers and HE guidance
To be aware of and uphold appropriate House procedures as required by the Housemaster/mistress
To act as a positive role model for pupils at all times
To be familiar with and uphold all College aims, values and policies at all times
To attend all staff meetings, weekly briefings and INSET sessions
To attend all relevant Parent-Teacher consultations
To attend and contribute to all College Open Days
To be aware of and responsible for upholding College Health and Safety policies and procedures
To be aware of and uphold the College Staff Room Handbook and Code of Conduct
To set the appropriate tone around the College in respect of dress, punctuality, conduct, manners and environmental awareness
To participate fully in the co-curricular programme
To be available for a maximum of one weekly boarding duty and one termly weekend boarding duty
To carry out other duties as reasonably expected by the Headmaster

​Requirements:
Epsom College in Malaysia is looking for a well-qualified, highly motivated and committed Mandarin teacher starting in August 2019.  The successful candidate must have:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mandarin language and/or literature.
Minimum of three years teaching experience in a local and/or international school.
Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English (written & spoken).
A successful track record in teaching and learning and an ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment.
In addition, the ability to teach in both the Primary school is desirable.
